CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Weather permitting, Central Pennsylvania offers the cross country skier many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.  Pray for snow.  Bald Eagle, Sproul, and Tiadaghton State Forests all have blazed trail systems that they maintain for the cross country skier.  Some that we enjoy are:

Ski trails at R. B. Winter State Park in Union County (Bald Eagle State Forest)

Bear Paw Ski Loop , Ravensburg State Park, Lycoming County (Tiadaghton State Forest)

Pitch Pine Ski Touring Trail, Rt. 44, Haneyville, Lycoming Co. (Tiadaghton State Forest)

Hiding Bear Ski Trail, top of Hyner Mountain, Rt. 44, Clinton County (Sproul State Forest)
