ICE CLIMBING

Although Pennsylvania does not have the harsh weather and the high peaks of the White Mountains, Adirondacks, or the Catskills, when the weather cooperates, we do have a short ice climbing season to enjoy frozen adventures. Some of the local sites to practice our trade include:

Roadside, Gemini Gullies, Hidden Amphitheater, Clinton County.
Ganoga Falls at Ricketts Glen State Park, Luzerne County.
River Cliffs at Shikellamy State Park, Northumberland County. (Access Problems)
Angel Falls at Wyoming State Forest, Sullivan County.
Silver Thread and Dingmans Falls, Delaware Water Gap, Pike County.
Kintersville Area (Narrows) along Delaware River, Bucks County.
Pine Creek Gorge in Tioga State Forest, Tioga County.
Weis Amphitheater along Lycoming Creek, Williamsport
Worlds End State Park, Sullivan County (Access Problems)
